Guitar course
Acoustic, classical and electric: chords, rhythm, technique and your favourite songs.
The course
Acoustic, classical or electric guitar: the course is built around the student's goals, from the first chords to accompany singing to the study of technique, improvisation and styles.
Who it is for
For children, teenagers and adults. No prerequisites: all you need is a guitar, which the school can also lend for the first lessons.
What you will learn
- Chords, strumming and accompaniment
- Reading tablature and chord charts
- Technique: pick, fingerpicking, legato
- Scales, arpeggios and first solos
- Styles: pop, rock, blues, folk, funk
How it works
One-to-one lessons of 45 or 60 minutes, once a week. The programme is personalised: each lesson alternates technique, applied theory and repertoire chosen together. During the year students can take part in ensemble workshops, the end-of-year recital and sessions in the school's recording studio.
