Terms and conditions

Fees, dates and payment terms for the current year are set out in the enrolment form and communicated by the office.

1. Who we are

The website paroleemusica.net is run by Associazione culturale Parole & Musica (hereinafter "PMA" or "the Association"), based at Via Savona 26, 20144 Milan, tax code 97726600154, email paroleemusicaacademy@gmail.com, certified email (PEC) paroleemusicaacademy@pec.it. Courses are reserved for members of the Association.

2. Enrolment and membership

Taking part in the courses requires an application for membership, payment of the annual membership fee and acceptance of the Statute. For minors the application is signed by a parent or the person with parental responsibility. Enrolment is personal and non-transferable.

3. Trial lesson

The trial lesson lasts 45 minutes, involves no commitment and no obligation to enrol. The cost of the trial lesson, if any, is communicated by the office at the time of booking.

4. Courses, fees and payments

The academic year runs approximately from October to June. One-to-one lessons last 45 or 60 minutes on a weekly basis; group courses and early music education follow the calendar communicated at enrolment. Fees are set annually and must be paid by the deadlines stated in the enrolment form. Non-payment leads to the suspension of lessons until the situation is settled.

5. Absences and make-up lessons

Lessons not cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice are considered given. Lessons cancelled in time may be made up subject to the teacher's availability, by the end of the academic year. Lessons cancelled by the school are always made up.

6. Withdrawal

Withdrawal from a course must be communicated in writing to the office. Fees paid for periods already started are non-refundable, except in cases of proven inability to continue (illness, relocation) assessed by the Board. The membership fee is never refundable.

7. Conduct, premises and instruments

Students must respect the school's timetable, premises, instruments and equipment. Any damage caused by negligence is charged to the person responsible or to their guardian. The Association is not liable for unattended personal belongings.

8. Minors

Minors are under their parents' responsibility until the lesson starts and from the moment it ends. Parents' access to the classrooms during lessons is agreed with the teacher.

9. Recitals, events and images

Taking part in recitals, masterclasses and events is optional. Photos and videos may be taken during activities for the Association's documentation and promotion: a separate release is requested at enrolment and can be withdrawn at any time.

10. Open Day

Access to the Open Day is free. Booking through the website helps us organise the spaces and does not constitute enrolment in the courses.

11. Use of the website

The website content (texts, photographs, logo) belongs to the Association or the respective authors and may not be reproduced without permission. The information published is for information purposes and may be updated without notice. The website forms must be filled in with truthful data.

12. Data processing

Personal data are processed according to the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. The Court of Milan has jurisdiction over disputes, without prejudice to the consumer's court where applicable.
