Singing course
Vocal technique, breathing, interpretation and pop, soul, jazz and musical theatre repertoire.
The course
PMA's singing course comes from the school's own tradition: it was founded as a singing school. A one-to-one path to learn to use your voice in a healthy, expressive way, whatever your starting point.
Who it is for
For those starting from scratch, those who already sing and want to improve technique and intonation, and those preparing for auditions, bands or live performances.
What you will learn
- Diaphragmatic breathing and breath support
- Intonation, range and register transitions
- Lyric interpretation and stage presence
- Personalised repertoire: pop, soul, R&B, jazz, musical theatre, singer-songwriter
- Microphone technique and singing in the rehearsal room and studio
How it works
One-to-one lessons of 45 or 60 minutes, once a week. The programme is personalised: each lesson alternates technique, applied theory and repertoire chosen together. During the year students can take part in ensemble workshops, the end-of-year recital and sessions in the school's recording studio.
