FAQ
Everything students and parents ask before starting. Can't find the answer? Write to us.
How does the trial lesson work?
Fill in the form or message us on WhatsApp with the instrument you are interested in. We will offer you a date with the teacher: the lesson lasts 45 minutes and there is no commitment. At the end, if it feels right, we set your weekly time together.
From what age can you start?
Early music education starts at age 4. Instrument study usually starts between 5 and 7 depending on the instrument (piano, violin and ukulele earlier; saxophone and bass later). There is no upper limit: many of our students are adults.
Do I already need an instrument?
Not for the first lessons: pianos, drums, guitars, basses and ukuleles are available on site. For practising at home we advise you on what to buy or rent according to your budget.
How long are lessons and how much do they cost?
One-to-one lessons last 45 or 60 minutes, once a week, from October to June. Fees depend on the course and the lesson length: contact the office for the current price list and family discounts.
Are there recitals or concerts?
Yes: in June there is the end-of-year recital, and during the year we organise masterclasses announced on the calendar. Taking part is optional but recommended: playing in front of an audience is part of the journey.
Where is the school and how do I get there?
We are at Via Savona 26, Milan (Tortona / Porta Genova district). Metro stops: M2 Porta Genova and Sant'Agostino, M4 Coni Zugna and California, all a few minutes' walk away. Tram 14 stops nearby.
Can I also take lessons online?
For some courses (singing, piano, guitar, songwriting, production) online lessons can be arranged when needed. Ask your teacher.
