Salvatore Versace
Salvatore Versace has worked with sound for over fifteen years, moving between music and record production, film scoring, sound design for advertising and live production. He also releases music as an independent artist and founded 00part, a creative direction collective based in Milan.
In 2024 he won first place in the MEDIMEX competition with Sony Music Publishing as a composer under 35, a recognition that led to a collaboration with Michele Braga.
In recent years his work has moved beyond the usual formats of traditional music, integrating cutting-edge technology, electronics and AI into the generative processes of sound production. This is where his sound installations come from, in which sound is generated by physical matrices, data and bioelectric signals.
He currently develops independent audio software, designing instruments and plugins with AI-assisted workflows. In the past year he developed INSANE for SoundBerry, an innovative Italian start-up working in generative music.
